The Society for Technology & Development (STD) is a non profit organization, working since 1990 for the welfare of deprived sections of society in Mandi district of Himachal Pradesh.

Consisting of a multi-disciplinary group of dedicated and experienced professionals from the fields of technology, engineering, education, social, agriculture and horticulture sciences, besides a group of committed field researchers and artisans, the STD has been working to replicate models and strategies to help farmers and artisans.
