The Jana Vignana Vedika(JVV) is a scienceorganisation, working for the popularization ofscience since its inception1988 in A.P. with the objectives of science for the people, science for the progress and science for self-relianceJVV is undertaking several programs like seminars, workshops, science fairs, training camps to inculcate the spirit of scientific temper in the society.
      Also JVV Championed many social tasks like literacy movement, prohibition of arrack, against fish medicine, Cool Drinks. JVV derives its strength from all sections of the society including scientists,
professors, lecturers, teachers, doctors and many social activities. As part of our activities, we have successfully celebrated South India Children’s Science Festival (Srujanotsavam) in Jan – 2005. We express our gratitude for the co-operation extended by you in making our programme successful.
     Besides JVV is running an exclusive ‘Children’sScience ‘CHEKUMUKI‘ in Telugu since 1990. We appeal all of you to extend your co-operation to spread the scientific temper among the children’s by subscribing to our science magazine. JVV has also published many books for the enhancement of children’s creativity. It is happy to say that JVV recently has been honoured with National Award for its “Outstanding efforts in Science and Technology communication” for the year 2005.
      As this is a continuous people’s Science Movement, Though we have done a lot still there is a lot to be done. Various future Programmes are to planned based on past experiences and move forward successfully.
